Halton Healthcare provides a multidisciplinary assessment to determine eligibility and short-term treatment for adults with mild to moderate eating disorder symptoms. Adults must be medically stable to be eligible for the program. Adults with more severe and chronic symptoms would benefit from a more intensive treatment program. The team includes social workers, a dietician, nurse practitioner and psychiatry.
Services Include:
- Mandatory group based programming consisting of a psychoeducation group and a skills building group
- Individual care and support
- Medical monitoring in collaboration with the referring primary care provider
Accessing Care
